Welcome to ChuckTown Websites! By using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully, as they outline the rights and responsibilities of both ChuckTown Websites (“we,” “our,” or “us”) and our valued clients (“you,” “your,” or “the client”).
1. Our Mission
ChuckTown Websites was founded with one goal: to help small and medium-sized businesses succeed through professional digital marketing services. Our offerings include website design, website hosting and management, search engine optimization (SEO), Google Ads management, logo design, and more.
2. No Contract Policy & Cancellation
We believe in results, not long-term contracts.
- Services are provided on a month-to-month basis.
- Clients may cancel at any time with 30 days written notice.
- Services will remain active until the end of the period paid for by the client, provided payments are up to date.
3. Payments & Fees
- Timely Payments: All payments must be completed on time to prevent suspension of services.
- Immediate Termination: All products will terminate immediately upon failure to pay on time.
- Suspension Policy: Failure to pay will result in immediate suspension of products and services.
- Grace Period: For website hosting, we allow up to 10 business days for overdue payments before cancellation.
- Reactivation Fee: Cancelled hosting accounts require a $350 reactivation fee if reinstated.
4. Logo Design
- All file types will be provided after client approval.
- Once finalized, additional changes require a new fee.
- Clients are responsible for trademarking their own logos. Trademarking is not included in ChuckTown Websites services.
5. Website Design & Ownership
- Money-Back Guarantee: All WordPress website designs come with a 100% money-back guarantee if the client does not approve the site to go live.
- Refund Limitations: Deposits may not be refunded if delays are caused by the client.
- Payment Requirement: If a website is completed but the client fails to pay the second installment, the site will be suspended and ownership will not be transferred until payment is received in full.
- Ownership: Clients own their website upon completion of final payment.
- Rebuild Requests: Any redesign after client approval requires a new quote and approval.
6. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- All websites designed by ChuckTown Websites include onsite SEO for every page.
- Onsite SEO is intended to position the website for successful offsite SEO strategies.
- Full SEO packages, including ongoing onsite updates and offsite SEO, are separate services with their own quotes and strategies.
- Google Analytics is installed for SEO clients, and access is available upon request.
7. Website Hosting & Management
- We offer multiple hosting options tailored to each business.
- Clients who need higher performance can upgrade to faster servers for improved website speed and ranking potential.
8. Google Ads (AdWords) Management
- We build and manage Google Ads campaigns to maximize lead generation.
- Campaigns may be built under the client’s ownership, provided we are granted access.
- Clients must not make changes to managed campaigns. All modifications should be requested through ChuckTown Websites.
9. Google Local Service Ads
- ChuckTown Websites will set up, submit for approval, and manage Local Service Ads campaigns.
- Clients must provide all required documentation to Google for verification.
- We monitor campaigns and review call quality for value assurance.
- ChuckTown Websites is not responsible for changes made by Google but will assist clients in navigating updates.
10. Add-Ons & Domain Names
- Add-ons such as ADA compliance tools, live chat, domains (URLs), and webmail can be added to service plans.
- Clients may request release of their domain (URL) at any time, provided all invoices are paid in full.
- Once released, the client is solely responsible for domain renewal and management.
11. Software Integrations
- We design WordPress websites capable of integrating third-party software such as booking systems, CRMs, payment gateways, and client portals.
- Clients must subscribe to such software directly and provide necessary code or links.
- ChuckTown Websites is not responsible for the functionality or ongoing management of third-party software.
12. Limitation of Liability
ChuckTown Websites will always act in the best interests of our clients. However, we are not responsible for:
- Third-party software failures or downtime.
- Search engine algorithm updates or advertising platform changes.
- Losses due to suspension or termination resulting from non-payment.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Charleston County, South Carolina.
14. Updates to Terms
ChuckTown Websites reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
